Nalco in Asia Pacific
Nalco has had a presence in China since the early 1980s, but on June 28, 1995 Nalco joined forces with CITIC Chemical Company of the Peoples Republic of China to establish the main office in China. See also our Asia Pacific Milestones.
There are two facilities in China. Our original plant is located in the city of Suzhou, with the space home to offices, a production plant, warehouses, and a research and design center. Our newest facility in China is in the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park. Over the years, Nalco has been able to offer several solutions to industry issues in China ranging from scale treatment to corrosion and pollution in cooling water for boiler systems. Flagship programs — including TRASAR technology and the PORTA-FEED advanced chemical handling system — have been able to establish Nalco as an industry leader is this country of more than one billion people.
